Most plastic barrels currently used are made of high-molecular materials and polyethylene, which is a material with high electrical resistance and excellent insulation performance. The gasoline sloshes back and forth in the plastic barrel, and friction, impact, and splashing can all generate static electricity. When the static voltage of the plastic barrel reaches 300 volts, electrostatic discharge will occur, causing sparks.
Secondly, because the ignition point of gasoline is very low, it is easy to ignite the gasoline in the plastic barrel, even causing [an incident]. Stainless steel barrels are made of metal composites and have excellent conductivity, which can be transferred to the ground to prevent sparking and ignition of gasoline, so they must use stainless steel barrels instead of plastic barrels for transportation.

According to the specifications, there are mainly vertical and horizontal types, with specifications ranging from 1 to 50 cubic meters. Currently, there are 180 different products including vertical, horizontal, and transport tanks. Steel-lined plastic barrels include vertical, horizontal, transport tanks, and tank trucks.
